Two Month Check-Up

I had my 2 month check-up, although I'm 9 weeks, this week and let me tell you boy have I grown! I know weigh 13 lbs 8 oz and am 23 1/2 in long...90 percentile in both categories. I've out-grown most of my 0-3 month clothes and am now in my 3-6 month clothes!

The doctor told Mommy it was time for me to start sleeping in my own bed! I also overheard the doctor telling Mommy I had to get 4 shots. The mean nurse stuck me 2 times in each thigh. I let out a big cry while she was hurting me, but as soon as Mommy picked me up it was like nothing had ever happened.

Fall Pictures

Mommy made me do this! After church last week Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Darcy took me to the Arboretum for the Fall Festival. We visited a couple pumpkin patches and walked around looking at all the pretty fall flowers. I wasn't on my best behavior...it was really hot and the sun kept getting in my eyes.

Church

My first time attending church was a success! I slept through the whole thing...are you starting to see a trend? I LIKE TO SLEEP! Hopefully I'll be good this week just like I was last week.

This is me still sleeping after we got home from church and breakfast! I'm such a sweet and good baby (when I want to be)!

State Fair of Texas!

I had my first trip to the State Fair of Texas this week! Wow, there was so much to see and eat! I really liked looking at all the bright lights and listening to the carnival music. Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Darcy and Jess had all sorts of fried food...snickers, oreos, corny dogs, burritos and nutter butters...I think they each gained 5 lbs! When I grow up, Mommy said she'll take me back so that I can ride some of the cool rides.

Just an Update..

I've had a busy 2 weeks! I had my one month check-up on the 1st and am up to 10 lbs! Can you be live that...I gained 2.5 lbs in 2 weeks! This made my doctor, Mommy and Daddy really happy since I was under weight at my last appointment. I also had another shot, but took it pretty well. I think it hurts Daddy more than me!


The next day Mommy and I headed to Satanta for a few days. I like car rides! I slept the whole way there and back. A few of Gigi's friends gave me a shower. I got some many nice things and can't wait to get a little older so that I can play with all my new toys! Here are some pictures from our trip.

I also have a new girlfriend! Mommy's friend that she grew up with had a little girl, Maggie, 4 days after I was born. We got to hang out and go on walks...she's pretty cute!
