My First Wish List To Santa

I've been a very good boy this year and I let Santa know it today! Mommy, Aunt Darcy and Jess took me to the mall today to have my picture taken with Santa. Man, was he a big guy! I wasn't too interested in talking to Santa, but all the blinking Christmas lights really got me excited.

I can't wait to see what Santa leaves me under the tree this year!

Update On What I've Been Up To

Lots to catch you up on since it's been a few weeks.

I helped Mommy put up our Christmas lights! We lined the whole yard and it looks so good - I can't wait for my first Christmas even though I won't know what's really going on. We aren't hanging lights on the house since it's too big - maybe when I get older I can help do that.

Mommy also started back to work last week. I really didn't want her to leave me so I decided to sleep in and she had to come wake me up at 8:00...haha. She was only gone for a couple hours and I got to hang out with Miss Kara and her 3 kids. I took a couple cat naps, but mostly I was too busy checking out all my new surroundings.

Yet another first....my first time flying! We woke up at 3:00 a.m. Thanksgiving morning to catch our flight to KC to see all of Daddy's family. Flying was pretty cool - I slept on the flight. Mommy and Daddy need to learn how to pack better so that we don't have so many bags! This is Daddy and me hanging out in the Admirals Club before our flight.

Santa visited Chapman...it was the coolest thing, he rode in to town on a big firetruck! It was pretty cold but Mommy got me all bundled up before we went out to see the big man in the red suit!

Daddy Gives Me A Bath For The First Time

Oh boy, did I have quite the experience this morning! Daddy decided to give me a bath while Mommy took a shower before church. This was the first time Daddy had done this and I believe his words to Mommy were, "it can't be that hard". Mommy was giving Daddy step-by-step instructions of what to scrub first and how to scrub me. I managed not to cry during my bath, but afterwards Daddy had a hard time getting my shirt on since he put lotion on my arms.

(Apparently Daddy needs to give Easton his baths from now on because he is sleeping so peacefully right now!)

I'm not real sure how clean I am, but I sure look cute in my new outfit!

How Did I Manage To Do This?

Take a look at my blankets...I wiggled my way out without kicking my blankets opwn! I will be a pro at sneaking out of the house when I am a teenager!

most of the time! Aunt Darcy was over last night and thought it would be fun to tickle me. I was in a pretty good mood and was smiling a lot so Mommy snapped a few pictures of me.

First Night In My Own Bed

For the first 9 weeks of my life I've been sleeping in a cradle beside Mommy and Daddy's bed. Last night they decided to let me sleep in my own bed in my own room. To their surprise, I was excited! Daddy laid me down at 9:30 (I fell asleep on the couch at 8:00) and I only woke up twice to eat. I slept in till 9:00 today and really like having all the extra room.

Friday Night Football

Tonight Mommy and I went to my first high school football game with Kara and her 3 kids, Jack, Hannah and Molly. Kara's husband is the defensive coach so we went to cheer him and the boys on. Everyone always says there's nothing like high school football in Texas and boy were they right! There were bands, flag girls, cowbells, CHEERLEADERS and lots of people screaming. I stayed awake for the 1st quarter but ended up sleeping through the 2nd quarter. We ended up leaving at halftime because I was getting a little hungry.

Two Month Check-Up

I had my 2 month check-up, although I'm 9 weeks, this week and let me tell you boy have I grown! I know weigh 13 lbs 8 oz and am 23 1/2 in long...90 percentile in both categories. I've out-grown most of my 0-3 month clothes and am now in my 3-6 month clothes!

The doctor told Mommy it was time for me to start sleeping in my own bed! I also overheard the doctor telling Mommy I had to get 4 shots. The mean nurse stuck me 2 times in each thigh. I let out a big cry while she was hurting me, but as soon as Mommy picked me up it was like nothing had ever happened.

Fall Pictures

Mommy made me do this! After church last week Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Darcy took me to the Arboretum for the Fall Festival. We visited a couple pumpkin patches and walked around looking at all the pretty fall flowers. I wasn't on my best behavior...it was really hot and the sun kept getting in my eyes.

Church

My first time attending church was a success! I slept through the whole thing...are you starting to see a trend? I LIKE TO SLEEP! Hopefully I'll be good this week just like I was last week.

This is me still sleeping after we got home from church and breakfast! I'm such a sweet and good baby (when I want to be)!

State Fair of Texas!

I had my first trip to the State Fair of Texas this week! Wow, there was so much to see and eat! I really liked looking at all the bright lights and listening to the carnival music. Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Darcy and Jess had all sorts of fried food...snickers, oreos, corny dogs, burritos and nutter butters...I think they each gained 5 lbs! When I grow up, Mommy said she'll take me back so that I can ride some of the cool rides.

Just an Update..

I've had a busy 2 weeks! I had my one month check-up on the 1st and am up to 10 lbs! Can you be live that...I gained 2.5 lbs in 2 weeks! This made my doctor, Mommy and Daddy really happy since I was under weight at my last appointment. I also had another shot, but took it pretty well. I think it hurts Daddy more than me!


The next day Mommy and I headed to Satanta for a few days. I like car rides! I slept the whole way there and back. A few of Gigi's friends gave me a shower. I got some many nice things and can't wait to get a little older so that I can play with all my new toys! Here are some pictures from our trip.

I also have a new girlfriend! Mommy's friend that she grew up with had a little girl, Maggie, 4 days after I was born. We got to hang out and go on walks...she's pretty cute!

A Visit From Aunt Co and Grandma and Grandpa Fink

After my trip to the hospital on Wednesday, Mommy and I went home to take a nap and wait for Daddy to bring Aunt Co and Grandma and Grandpa Fink home from the airport. This was my first time meeting everyone so I was really excited. Mommy says they spoiled me rotten, but I didn't mind being held and feed whenever I wanted!

Blood Work

Today Mommy took me back to the hospital to have some blood work done again. Nothing to worry about, it was just something that had to be done when I was two weeks old. The mean nurse pricked my foot and squeezed really hard! I only cried a little bit and the nurse told me I was a really good boy...she even gave me a Batman band aid for being so good!

My First Lunch With The Girls

Mommy decided we needed to get out of the house and meet Aunt Darcy and Jess for lunch at Half Shells. I think Mommy enjoyed some adult time and I had so much fun I slept through the whole meal!

More Pictures

Mommy decided it was time for me to get my birth announcement pictures taken before I got too big, so today was the day. Mommy and Daddy made sure it give me a bottle before my appointment so that I wouldn't be fussy for my pictures. Although they thought this was a GREAT idea, it turned out to be not so great.

First, I had to take everything off but my diaper. The photographer shot a few pictures and while she was shooting, Daddy noticed something leaking from my diaper. Yup, I peed all over myself! Mommy cleaned me up and we proceeded with a few more pictures before my diaper came off for more pictures. Once again, I peed all over...not only for the second time, but 3 times! We were on our last set of pictures and the photographer wanted to get some of Daddy holding me. I got a little excited again and peed all over myself and Daddy! Mommy thought it was the funniest thing because Daddy's crotch was all wet and it looked like he had peed himself too!!!

Two Week Check-Up

I had my two week check-up yesterday and scored an A+ on my report card!!! I've not gained much weight, only 2oz, since I left the hospital so my Pediatrician put me on some formula in addition to mommy's milk. I'm really hoping this helps fill my belly up and mommy and daddy are hoping this helps me sleep better at night!

This was my first time eating formula....I didn't like it at first, but now it's really yummy!

My First Week

I had lots of visitors while in the hospital! Mommy tried to take pictures of everyone, but I know she missed a few...like my Aunt Susan and mommy's boss, Celine. Here are some pictures of me with my family and friends.

Mommy was a little worried about my first car ride, but I showed her and slept the whole way home! I was excited to see our new house and everyone who was waiting to see me.

One of my other favorite things to do, besides eat and poop my diaper, is swing! I know, it's bigger than I am, but I'll grow into it.

Early Arrival

I decided to enter this world a couple weeks early even though mommy and daddy told me to wait until we moved into our new house.

My arrival was pretty exciting as mommy was at home alone while daddy was up in Oklahoma City working. Luckily Aunt Darcy lived only a couple blocks away and came over to take mommy to the hospital.

A few hours later and a little pain for mommy, here I am! I weighted 7 lbs 13 oz and was 20 in long. Mommy and daddy said I was the most beautiful baby in the world and I have to agree!
